It comes up with a blank page, how do I fix this?
It's supposed to be blank unless it has an action like action=register, action=login, action=profile, something like that... what are you trying to access when you see a blank page...??

Are you sure the URL is member.php?action=register and not just member.php?? Do you have any plugins?? Modified any templates?? Tried to upload a new copy of member.php??
What plug-ins do you have installed?
I had a similar issue, except with a redirection.
what i did was expand the member_register on both my active theme and the default, then simply copy and past the bottom 3 lines from the default to my current theme template, which turned our was missing a whole line!
this might work for you.
I doubt I have any plug ins that will affect the registration process.
I can only think of SEO plug ins being the problem, and they are deactivated.
Expand the member_register theme? How I do that?
As in open it to edit it... make sure the template is default, if it is, the template will be fine.
