Well, as I said, you'll probably get a better answer in the plugin support thread, if you're sure the files are where they're meant to be.
You're sure the message goes if you get rid of the file?
yes because I actually put the file in the wrong place first so it was showing up before even putting something there

Do you still have the two default plugins there?? akismet.php and hello.php?? Any other files there??

The only ones that should be there are hello.php, akismet.php and index.html... no idea where that other stuff is coping from but it certainly isn't default.
So should I delete Model, Views, _plugin.class, _plugin.funcs, index, and plugins.ctrl?
