Well Windows 7 RTM has now been signed off.

Whos already running a Windows 7 System? and what are the specs?

I got rid of windows 7 a few weeks ago. I have an IBM-t41 so find my specs later.

I had one on a V-machine

Overkill for the beta.. Umm Stiker II motherboard decent asus gfx card, 6 gig of ram, terrbyte hdd. Didn't impress me much

What made you get rid?

I am running the 64bit version and its faster than XP ever was for me

I reloaded my machine to linux (Ubuntu 9.04)

I have tried linux but always miss some of the programs that I use on windows.

Which programs? You can get most to work Via Whine or Virtual box.

MS Office

Nero

Umm. All of those have good linux alternative (well office old or new?)

And what does the first one do? Mpeg-2 to Dvd format? Dvd ripper?

Im not a linux user as much as I am an accidental user. gonna sleep now.
