Upload is the opposite of download. You are putting files on a server instead of getting them.
You use a program called an FTP Client to upload files to a server (there are some in the link below)

After you download the Latest Version of MyBB which is 1.4.8, you need to upload the contents of the folder called "Upload" to this area.... now depending on if your folder is called public_html or httdocs is where you upload them to.
