MyBB was a great find for me as I wanted a simple forum for non tecchy computer users. All the others were either too expensive, or overly complicated for the free ones. I discovered mybb and tried a demo out on another forum. Was perfect and linked in to my required plugins, plus works with tapatalk and forum runner so I can do mod stuff on the go via the iPhone. Thanks.

MyBB was the first BulletinBoard Software which satisfied me. It is easy to configure and easy to extend with plugins. Also writing an own plugin is easier I thought. But the most impressive thing is, MyBB looks clean and has an intuitive navigation. Great work!

Inspired by a popular online forum, I decided to create one and check the options for creating one. Having tried PHPBB, SMF, FUD, etc. I stumbled to Mybb and first saw this at forum-reviews site. I have to say that this is by far the easiest to install, configure and use. From administration to customization and plugins, this software beats the rest of those out there.

Comment: I'm glad I found MyBB several years ago because it's satisfactory to my needs as a webmaster. It provides administrators the same features and capabilities that premium software such as IP.Board and vBulletin have for no cost at all. Since then it has only gotten better as an open source software and I have no doubt in my mind that it will continue to grow until it's on top!
