I am not able to upload avatars from a normal user acount and is only do able from the admin pannal. I read about changing the chmod 666 to chmod 777 and dont know how to do it. I know you have to click on a file but dont know where it is and what its called (it will still be default name) as my dads friend did it for me as i am only 14 and have very little experience of the subject.

I would be greatful ifsomeone could tell me how i would do this.

Thanks.
Do you know how to use a FTP or where to get one?
heloo there

i'd apreciate if u tell me what program u are using so i can tell u about it , it self.

usually it's a right click > chmod > select all or type 777

I use filezilla if thats what you mean?
ok below how to chmod using filezilla
  • Left click on a file or directory on your remote window to highlight it.
  • Right click on the file or directory and from the menu that appears choose "File Attributes"
  • You will then be able to set the check boxes or enter in the chmod number
