Adsense has been great for me but I never tried any of the others. Obviously I can't try any others as long as I'm using adsense.
I've seen some fairly large sites using Yahoo Ads as well.

I feel so too... if I read a text I don't want to click on a hyperlink in it or move over it and get an advert. Place it next to content but separate content / advertisement please.
I think Google Adsense Guidelines do also forbid to have such ads at your site with adsense.
What's the best one that pays via paypal???
Bidvertiser i think is. Not many do.

Yeah, I have tried them before. But I didn't get anything. There ads are not very good.
If google payed via paypal, they would get a lot more people signing up but wouldn't make as much money.
