Where's "todays posts" at ?

When you click 'New Posts' it brings a drop down with those two links.

I think the logo needs to be reduced in size with some color added, new colors, get rid of "the thing" whatever it is to the right of MyBB also.

Maybe just focus on streamlining the letters into looking better MyBB sort of like BP did with their old logo !

You're anyways gonna replace the logo with your own if you install the theme, so why are you even talking about it.

Besides, the OP is not asking about the actual style (if you notice, he's still using the default). He's talking about the look of the menu.

Obviously, he's not making a theme for this site.

It's probably for his site, a client's site, or maybe he will release it.

And, it's some call it placeholder.

Add a avatar of the user.

AVC just please shut it will you? The logo is always once of the last things for a header to do. You first have to get the right design and layout for the header than you can worry about the logo. He is just using the MyBB logo for now as a placeholder since it's easier to work with than having a white space.

Back to Topic:

I think it looks nice so far but as Rafael suggested add a avatar of the user in the right corner.
