Dunno how fast other peoples' net speed is but heres my fastest

IIRC I've peaked at about 1Mbps using the normal FF download box from certain sites.

Your downloading a torrent so that speed is going to be dictated by the bandwidth of your seeders. For a more accurate speed measurement you should use a service like www.speedtest.net

i did know that but it never worked properly

anyway it wasn't a torrent just normal download from a site

It's good enough for me but would never mind more .

I wish I had your connection NetSage! I'm suppose to be on 20mbps but I rarely get above 5mbps

I can't do a pingtest, the firewall's blocking it..

At home I've seen 18mbps I think. I'll test again at home.

Apparently mine's 2272 kb/s but it's nowhere near that fast for me.
