Hello,

After downloading the MyBB software and trying to install it, I noticed that I did not see the MyBB installer. Has anyone else encountered this? How can I get it?

Thanks,

Dave

Hi, I am new to MyBB. I did go to the url you stated, but just saw a previous index page of my site I used previously. I updated my index page since then. Nothing happened though when I went there...

Dave
What's your URL??

I downloaded it again, went in to the install folder. I see two folders: one called 'images' and the other called 'resources'. There also are three files called 'stylesheet.css', 'index.php', and 'upgrade.php'. Thats all.

Yes, that's all there's supposed to be, but it's just listing those files when you go to it in your browser?? Is PHP actually enabled....?? What happens when you go to index.php directly in the URL??

I just see my site www.castingnewyork.com. I just transferred my host to GoDaddy yesterday. How do I know if PHP is enabled?

Thanks

Dave
It will say somewhere in your host control panel. Not sure what the URL's about, what URL are you using to try and access the installer...??
Try going to http://www.castingnewyork.com/install/index.php and I am pretty sure that godaddy has PHP enabled Toungue

I really am a beginner with this MyBB thing. I uploaded the entire contents to my http root folder. Next, the directions told me to run the install file. Thats where I'm dead in the water. There is no file named 'install' anywhere in the upload folder.
