hi i am new to mybb and i think it's a wonderful forum,i have a problem regarding the zip/rar,when i downloaded the zip/rar file and try to unzip it,it just says this file is either damaged or broken.....at this stage i am fed up..please help

Download this http://www.7-zip.org/. Right click it go to 7-zip and extract here. See if that does the trick....

done it but this is what i get

cannot open file "C:\Documents and settings\my documents\mybb_1411 zip as archive ?????

i will try and download it again if not is there an older version that i can d/load

the size of the file i am getting is 391kB that i downloaded in zip form..surely thats not right??thats b4 i even extract it

i downloaded a mybb b4 maybe a few months back but can't locate it,i wonder would that be the reason why this is happening

No, it's not, it's not downloading properly. Should be more than 4 times that, 1.71 MB.

the inside is missing if ya ask me,but where did it go..very very strange

I just downloaded and extracted just fine so its not mybb....
