SOLD! Big Grin
Damn if I need a need for it I would pick it up.
Is there a mistake here "100Mbps port with unmetered 2Mbps bandwidth" or is it really limited to 2Mbps. If this is the case the 100Mbps port would be of no use because even a 10Mbps would be quite enough!

Is it connected on an old thin coaxial 10BASE2 network or is it a datacenter throttling? This really seem to be quite a limitation...

Wink
It can push 100Mbps through the port but I am only paying for 2Mbps. That means that I can use about 632GB of bandwidth per month but my speeds are not limited to 2Mbps. Wink
So if i am doing a download speed test for a 120MB file with my 8Mbps connection, i would be able to achieve a download speed of 8Mbps sustained for 2 minutes with no extra fee because it is over the 2Mbps limit?
If it makes it easier to understand just ignore the 2Mbps and replace it with 632GB of bandwidth per month, it doesn't matter how fast your upload/download as long as you do not go over 632GB. Wink I don't really have the time or energy to explain how bandwidth is measured (if you're curious: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burstable_billing).
Thank you for your answer, i would not accept a Burstable billing bandwith contract with a datacenter, i prefer the 2TB/month i already have for my servers with the 2 datacenters i deal with. This way i have no surprises at the end of the month.

I hope you find a buyer for this server that have quite good features... Smile
Ok, I'm not sure what you mean by that because I've never seen a data center that does not measure bandwidth like that (it's the most accurate way to measure bandwidth.) Toungue
A couple questions.

Who is server manufacturer?
How old is server?
Will a buyer get the details changed so the server can be sent back to him?
Is the raid configuration hardware or software based?
Does that datacenter offer KVM control or will they at least install a new OS if requested?

I'd be more interested in buying the server that's why I ask these details.
Here's the exact list of parts I used to build it:

The server was purchased in May of 2009 and went online in June of 2009.

I am working with the data center to ensure a smooth transition of ownership. The data center has even offered to throw in 2 months of free hosting to the new owner if they wish to stay hosted with them.

It is software based RAID (LSI MegaRAID).

The current plan includes 2 hours of remote hands or KVM over IP if you wish to do it yourself. There is no optical drive but the data center techs have an external drive that I use and they will download and burn any ISO requested.

I have this posted on WHT also if you would like to review the posts there to get more details: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?t=943950
