I've noticed this on 1.4x and 1.6x. After you post something using quick reply, "clicking Edit" does not give you the usual options of "Quick Edit" and "Full Edit".

Instead it takes you directly to the Full Edit page. This might be intentional because the post is posted using AJAX and you might not be able to offer that option without a page refresh. I dunno.

Just wondering if there is a reason or is it a bug?

It'll be something specific to your forum or browser. Can't remember anyone else having this issue.

Must be the browser, It happens to me on my live forum (1.4) and both my 1.6 test forums. Guess it must be something with Firefox's javascript engine. I'll try it in Chrome.

Which version of Firefox are you using?

I run firefox's latest stable always and it works just fine.

I'm running 3.6.3 on Windows 7.

Perhaps a ad blocker...

Just tried it without AdBlock on and it still doesn't work.

Try it in safe mode or whatever it's called when you can run it with no plugins at all.

I disabled all add-ons and it still didn't work. I tried Safe Mode and it still didn't work.

Just tried in stock FF 3.6.3 on OS X 10.6 and it's fine.
