That's pretty simple buy a mobo and case first and that tells you what you're able to buy. Because if you don't have an 16x pci slot you obviously can't get a video card made for one. Parts you'll need.
Case, Motherboard, processor, power supply, ram, gfx/video card, and sound card(maybe a network card). Depending on the use of the computer and mother board you may not even need to buy the gfx, sound, or network card.
