There isn't a known problem of mybb being exploited in this way otherwise there would be an official patch to correct it

This is just an extra thing mybb does to protect it self even more and I don't think it only applies to the personal pad.

You would be correct. IIRC, it performs specific checks on all user submitted data. Posts included, to a lesser degree (I could be wrong about that, though).
Yeah I don't know why it hates the personal pad so much really.

It's not the "Hacking Stopper Program" it's the "Intrusion Detection System".
