Hey guys,

I have been putting every drop of sweat I have into learning PHP but I just can't get the hang of it. I have been reading an online book but I can hardly go five minutes with out loosing my focus in frustration...any suggestions. Thanks if advance! Smile
W3Schools.com is good. However, this is how I learned: http://youtube.com/phpacademy

He explains everything to you. Just follow along with everything he does and you'll get the hang of it. Wink
you might also want to try these screen casts at the themeforest blog http://blog.themeforest.net/page/2/?s=diving+into+php .
Nice, thanks, both of you. Smile
I would honestly suggest purchasing some great beginner books, online tutorials are usually a bit iffy as most of them are from everyday programmers who sometimes have some bad developing habits. If you go with a well known book by a reputable author it'll be better for you in the long run.

Regards.

Definitely worth the money. Not only does it teach you PHP but you're developing projects all the way from a bookmark manager to a CMS to a basic forum software. Really all what a beginner needs to land on their feet running.
Only issue with books like that is...that just not the type of learner I am. Can't really pick up from books very good.
