Well I recently decided to redo my blog design, okay it was a few weeks ago but anyways, it's done.

I wanted something simple, light, easy on the eyes, and something that was in everyones taste (Or in more people's taste than the last one.)

So, I give you, my new blog design.

http://josh-r.net/

This is the biggest Wordpress theme I have done. I focused on editing every necessary file to make sure it looked like a fully custom theme.

The comments have nesting, as well as admin highlighting. Which I think is a pretty cool feature.

I have to admit, I got the idea for some of it from here. I liked how he had a separate color for the background of the titles in the sidebar, and how the whole design was just pretty simple. Nothing too special.

Let me know what you think, and if you notice any bugs or have any suggestions Smile

Thanks,
~Josh
Very simple, and I like it Smile
Nice, simple, and sleek. Well done Smile

And I don't know if this will sacrifice the quality of cufon but you can achieve cross-browser @font-face with this guide:
http://blog.themeforest.net/tutorials/ho...e-support/

It's a bit old but still relevant.
Isn't Cufon already cross-browser? I know it works in Chrome, Firefox, and IE. Not sure about Safari and Opera, however.

EDIT: Thanks to you both Smile

It is but @font-face is CSS and is a bit easier to edit.

True but it also sometimes leaves the edges choppy. With Cufon it generally looks smoother.
It's very simple, and pleasing to the eyes.

Good job! Smile

Though, I do have one suggestion. Change your permalink settings.

For example, instead of seeing http://josh-r.net/?page_id=2 when visiting your "About" page, change it to something like http://josh-r.net/about

I was planning on doing that, thanks for reminding me Smile

And thank you Smile
Yeah, it looks good. Nice work.
Just added a new feature.

Click the plus at the top to pull down some extra widgets.

I will probably add a color changer there soon as well. Smile
