It seems to take up a lot of room on the screen, and I've never been a fan about automatic players.
Music automatically playing is annoying.
But if you really do want it, someone else will have to help you with it.

Go into your Admin CP > Configuration > Portal Settings
Where it says, "Forum ID to pull announcements from"
Enter in the forum ID you want.
For example, your "News" forum is this link:
http://cod-nf.freehostia.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=5
Notice at the end of the link, it has number 5.
So, put "5" into the "Forum ID to pull announcements from", field.
And save it.

If it's not the right now, you'll have to ask him to send you the one he's using or find it yourself.
After installation, you'll have to double check the "Index" and "Portal" templates just like how you did with the the Shoutbox to ensure it's placed where you want it to be.

I don't know, I don't use that plugin.
You'll have to experiment and find out. It's not that hard at all.
I've merged the three threads you made on shoutboxes; why you needed 3 is beyond me.
