ok i installed mybb in public html following the wiki, also all the chmod is done, created my new website with 000webhost (ino), and the went to install it at
http://www.purox.net/forum/install and got this code: 404 page does not exist..
plz help
have you submitted your site to google submitter after installing it ?
Did you extract the MyBB zip file?
The /forum/ folder doesn't even seem to exist... printscreen where you've put the files.

I uploaded using the filemanager on 000webhost. In there, it has 2 uploading options, 1st is by "just" files, 2nd being by means of zip.. i tried both ways and then went back to zip after deletion and didnt want to upload all the files by themselves again since it gave me the error code again anyway, with the zip option in unzips, and sends the ASCII or BINARY automatically to the corasponding files.. and i uploaded it to the public_html file as directed.
Well, it doesn't seem to be the right place, which is why I asked for a printscreen. 404 means the file you're trying to load doesn't exist.
which file is it you was wanting to see? the root-public_html or is it in a subfile u wish to see? if its the root to public_html here is the screen copied..

Yeah, I see no forum folder there.
i will try and upload just the forum folder and its content to the public_html and see if that fixes it..actually it is in there..under
root /public_html /Upload /admin /modules /forum and here is all thats in forum file...
