ok, microsoft offers student discounts on windows 7 Professional.

Now if im a student in the USA, i get it for $64.95:

BUT If im a student in the UK, its £70.99:

How does that work? It should be like £40... Goddamn overpriced UK >_>

Everything's overpriced here. Some Apple things are the same numerical value in $ as they are in £, should be much less.

Because, Microsoft is an American company . Actually they're probably to global to really be anything so I have no idea.

But, I'm ok with it being american (sorry). Plus you guys get paid more(I think honestly not sure ).

Yeah prices here in the UK are utter nonsense. Can't wait till I go back to the US.

You should just be happy you get a discount in the first place, really.

You should price out software in India. Some of our offices are there and they pay 4-5 times what it costs here.

I wonder if the big lawsuit against MS has anything to do with the prices.
