Can anybody tell me why anybody would want to pay $89 for this piece of crap? http://www.wowbb.com/

What does it do that myBB or phpBB doesn't? If I was going to pay I would pay for vbulletin or IPB. Seriously it is a joke. It is just basic bulletin board which has been made and some moron is hoping that some idiots will actually buy it without checking out other forum packages.

Has anybody used it? Because it looks like something I would find if I looked into the toilets of a kids nursery.
I looked at that before, and it looks totally rediculous
loads so slow
:/ donno no, it isn't nice

however i guess they might reach somewhere one day Toungue
I have just setup a test board on there 30 day free trial... nothing special however there is one feature in the AdminCP that I do like, and its the slideable colour changing bars. I would like to see that in MyBB. Big Grin

That is some steep-lime prices!! *shocked*
I do like the Member Map idea, but they left off Alaska and Hawaii from the USA.

Well, that fact that it integrates with LDAP and NTTP, leads me to believe that it's geared towards corporate and enterprise users. They also have group chat and integrated virus checking, which is nice.

It's no different then OpenTopic, in that regard.

The WowBB forum isn't a bad piece of software, but, unfortunately, the market is just too saturated with forum applications, it makes it hard to justify purchasing any solution (with the exception of vBulletin for downloadable solutions or Groupee for hosted applications).
