Hi everyone, the thing is the following, I have just installed "mybb" forum and it works fine but I can not get to create categories.
If I open the admin panel the categories appear, but if I open the forum page they don't. What can I do?
Check the following is ticked:
AdminCP -> Forums and Posts -> Edit Settings -> Forum is Active: Yes

If it's not ticked, it will not appear on the front end.

Well.. Both (forum is active and forum is open) are ticked but still they do not appear.
Check the permissions. You might have set your group to can't view.
You made a category. Try putting a forum into it the category, that should make it display on the forum page.

Permissions are all set "as default" that's whty I don't understand the reason it doesn't work..
Is there anything else I could do to make it work?
Maritopp, try adding a forum to it.

Could you give us a link to your forum and a test account??

If I wanna post something I can
the link is the following mcalabria.sytes.net

Thanks a lot!
I only see:

My Category
-My Forum

Make sure guests + the usergroup you are in are allowed to see the category. Also, make sure it isn't hidden, and try making a forum & assigning it to it.

Sorry to bother you but, where do I check if it's hidden?
