Only if your database details change, I believe. Everything else should be fine.
I just sat on hold for 20 min only to be helped by 2 useless people who had no clue...seems like I am screwed.

Try again and ask to be moved to the actual tech support department. Tell them your server has a high load user, and that its ruining it for everyone else.
