I've installed the newest myBB.

I got a problem. I tried following that thread "Login / Logout Problems" but still got the problem. I'm the admin of the site. I logged in and when it's done refreshing, I'm still as a Guest. I put my settings.php permission to 666 and still can't. I haven't had this problem with myBB 1.4 but I'm having on 1.6

Anyone could help ?

And sometimes when it's logged in it shows login and its correct but when I tried to logout it still stays in logged in or sometimes logout successful and i try to login other accounts it will be the same account like before

For now I'm using a temp URL since I just signup for a hosting.

And the basic theme was also gone.

So sorry. I guess I got the fix. I deleted the Cookie Domain and it resetted everything making it worked.
Now another problem. I got 2 accounts in there to test. After I logout of my second account and I wanted to login into my first account , my second account still appears there even I have log out

Your board URL is wrong. What you have set is http://.46.243.9.16/~btsxchan/
It should be http://46.243.9.16/~btsxchan/ without the dot after http://

Your cookie settings should be as follows:

Cookie domain: .46.243.9.16
(You can try leaving it blank)
Cookie Path: /~btsxchan/

Ok thanks got it working.

Now like I said. I got 2 accounts in there to test. After I logout of my second account and I wanted to login into my first account , my second account still appears there even I have log out

First is defty second is PhotonHeliuM

I logged into defty and I logout. Then I logged into Photon, after logging in instead of PhotonHeliuM as my name , it's defty there. I need to Refresh in order to see Photon. Any idea how to fix ?

Clear out your cookies and cache on the browser.

Now it worked. But still having the logout and still same name. I cleared everything

Then you probably still have some cookie setting incorrect.

Post here what your current cookie settings are set to in the admincp
