INFORMATION:
Name: Make First Letter Uppercase
Description: A plugin which capitalizes the first letter of thread titles and posts.

Compatibility: 1.4.x, 1.6.x

PREVIEWS:

IMPORTANT:
This plugin does not capitalize the first letter of existing thread titles or posts, only thread titles or posts created after installing the plugin. This plugin does not revert the changes made by it on deactivate. Changes made by this plugin are permanent. In the future, this behavior might be changed. Until then, you can execute an SQL query in order to update all existing thread titles or posts.

INSTALLING:
1. Upload /inc/plugins/mfluc.php to /inc/plugins.
2. Go to your Admin Control Panel.
3. Go to the Configuration menu
4. Go to the Plugins sub-menu.
5. Activate the Make First Letter Uppercase plugin.

Also, this has been updated to 1.1. There was a typo which threw an error while editing a thread. In order to update, deactivate the plugin, upload the new version and re-activate it!

Hi we have checked and theres no errors or anything, thanks for letting us know though buddy.
as a person who commonly types in all lowercase, i would NEVER implement this mod, it's too controlling of your members. why force them to capitalize their sentences? is your forum GrammarPoliceForum.com? people like to express themselves in different ways.

different fonts
different colors
different styles
different grammar punctuation

what's next? forcing the implementation of proper semi-colon usage? on any forum i've ran, i GUARANTEE this mod would annoy way more people than it would not annoy.

In my view when people are not using decent punctuation it's just lazy, I think that my members should take the time to at least start of when a capital letter, and that they should end in a full stop. If this is to hard for them then yes this plugin is what I need.

And how would it annoy your members, are they going to be deliberty typing without using punctuation, well no of course they wont so how are they going to even notice the plugin is working, I mean you talk like they are going to riot over such a small change I cant see that happening.
