How do you upload images for your theme after you have imported your theme?
Just upload the images folder provided to your server??
If there are images that come with the theme, upload them to the images folder.

If you Import your theme after Uploading the images, then Yes.

I need to upload the images for the theme, not the theme itself.
You need to upload the complete folder (not only the files) in the theme zip file to the /images/ folder of your MyBB root folder. Afterwards go to ACP > Templates & Style > Themes > Import Theme and upload the xml file from the zip file there. You might need to check "Ignore Compatibility".
