Hi there whenever I try to download a database backup it wont let me.
I click 'Perform backup' but then it takes me to a page that says "
This web page has not been found
No web page was found for the web address:
http://paradiseforums.com/admin/index.ph...ion=backup"
I re-uploaded the admin file via FTP but that didn't solve the problem.
Any help is much appreciated.
Sounds like it's timing out on your host, you may have to take a backup via phpMyAdmin.

I don't think its a time out because it doesn't take long to load?
I am wanting to backup to move to a faster server.
So it just goes straight to that error, or...?? Check to see if there's anything in your server error log. Or just backup via phpMyAdmin.
How would I go about backing up VIA PhpMyAdmin ?
Login to phpMyAdmin and select the database you wish to dump.
Click on the "Export" tab at the top of the page.
Click "Select All" below the list of tables.
Make the format is SQL.
Click "Save as File" to download the result, or leave this box unticked to view it on-screen.
Ensure that both "Structure" and "Data" are ticked.
Choose a compression type, if any, from the bottom of the form.
Click "Go".
Tried that and it worked but it seems my database has significantly shrunk in size to 234kb ??
My last backup was around 2MB.
Are you sure you got the whole thing? That sounds like one table.
