A bit of an update on this, I thought the update fixed it, but I found out some of the files didn't upload properly so some of the plugins weren't working (until I reuploaded the upgrade).
Anyway, I sat around and deactivated some of the plugins and found out which one was causing the problem. jSnippets is the plugin causing the problem. After I deactivate that, guest posting worked again. The only problem is, when I deactivated it the drop-down menus the designer installed no longer worked and even when I active the plugin again, the menus still didn’t work, so I have no idea what happened with that. So, I’m again, at a loss.
