There is still showing 1.6.3 in "Reported In MyBB Version:" while creating an issue topic: http://dev.mybb.com/projects/mybb/issues/new , however the latest version is 1.6.4.

Fixed.

Also, MyBB wiki still shows latest version as 1.6.3.

Fixed on the Wiki's main page. Waiting for someone else to update the Versions page (1.6.3 needs to be uploaded separately, since it's no longer the latest).

let me report another related issue here - the portal page never gets updated with announcements !!

The portal is no longer used for announcements. They're posted on the blog now, thus why the announcements forum was archived.
