Well my site only has me and the other admin, he is the first admin, and I am the second, but when I try to access a plugin I just installed I get this error.



How do i fix this?

I have FTP, MYSQL, and all that incase I need that.

Can someone please tell me what this means? I just installed the latest version (1.6), and I don't know how a file could have an error like this on it. Whenever I try to access the plugins thing on the admin dashboard, the MySQL error above shows up. I checked, and index.php is definitely in the admin folder.

I am perplexed. This came up when I ran install.
I redownloaded the package thinking that file might have corrupted yourself, but after reuploading the entire package with the fresh upload package, I earned the same result when installing.

Okay, so I get this message saying that I have don't have the version MyBB 1.6 after I downloaded like 100 times. And before I downloaded it, I was able to edit temples....but now I can't. Why? Please Help!

I'm sure this is a simple question but...

I'm coming from phpbb, do we need to upload the downloaded theme to our server?

or

Do we "Import a Theme" from the pc via acp?

After unzipping the file I have...

the actual "File/Folder" with contents inside
and, "XML Document"

do we upload the folder to "/inc/plugins"

then import the XML via acp?

Is it possible to allow a single user only to view a certain thread?

Lets sat there was a forum called "Toms Forum" , can i set permissions to allow only tom to view that forum ?

I had been pondering waiting to upgrade..... but decided to go for it today. I followed the directions and took backups.....and disabled all plugins. I did everything the upgrade said to.......in the end.......I am back to where I started. Version 1.4.13

Did I miss something?

Hello Everyone,

I am using MyBB 1.6 , I am trying to send emails out by " send this Thread to a friend " but nothing is happening !

I tried PHP and SMTP options on Mail settings page and nothing is working !

Is there anything I can add to the Forum to enable this feature ?
