Whenever I try to create a table for a showcase I've created it keeps saying:
"Access to this resource on the server is denied!"
I click options beside the existing showcases, I click create table and the above is what I get. The status also shows a red exclamation image, even though when I click Enable, it says it was successfully enabled.
I've enabled the showcase and even when I try adding new field sets it still says the language file is not writeable, even though I set it to 777.

sounds like a host/mysql issue. The create table function is very basic, its builds a create table query and executes it, that is all.
can you check error or mysql logs on the server?
if you open the field set are the field label populated or blanK?

Could you tell me how to check the logs please? I tried in the MyBB ACP but it only shows my recent actions.

The field label is blank.

you need to look in your forum root for error_log or error.log files. Also log into your host account and see if there are any error logs available there. You may need to contact your host to see why its not working.
Try creating a new field set and see if that will take and save the labels.

Whenever I try creating a new field set, it keeps coming back with the language folder /admin is not writeable, even though I put CHMOD 777 on it.
The only error.log file has 3 lines in it, but that's to do with a reCaptcha plugin I have activated. There is none relating to this plugin at all.

are the file owner/group of the language files set correctly to your account?
You can manually create the language files you need. Just edit the file that exists with the follow info, obviously changing the variables as needed

As you can see, the basic structure is
$l['myshowcase_field_FIELDNAME'] = "FIELD LABEL";
so whatever is in the left column of the field set page is what goes into FIELDNAME

what hosting control panel do you have? can you find the file explorer in it?
if so, open the file manager/explorer and browse to your forum folder then \inc\languages\english\ and open myshowcase_fsX.lang.php where X is the feild set ID you are trying to edit. You can find it in the URL when trying to edit the field set.
Then replace the contents with the above. If the file does not exist, create a new file with the name above and fill it up with the contents.

Great Mod!! I get the following error though when trying to upload attachments.
The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again. Error details: There was a problem moving the uploaded file to its destination.

oh and another quick question. is there no way to link a users garage to a button on their posts?
in other words, I see a user in a post, then hit a button called "my garage" and it then shows the users garage instead of browsing or searching for it?
