reCAPTCHA Key

I just installed raCAPTCHA II and when I checked the configuration after it let some bots in I found I needed a key or two for it. I am a bit unconfused as when I downloaded it didn't say anything about needing to sign up for anything. The link it gives me sends me to an error page that says it "We've detected a problem with your cookie settings." Before I try to fix the cookie problem I wanted to hear about the sign up thing.
