forum counters

I do have 1 set up.

correct me if I'm wrong, but the thread views task should rebuild the forum counters so my issue doesn't occur, correct? how much load does it generally put on a forum?

I've got it set for:
every 15min
every hour
every day of the month
every day during the week
every month


I don't think it's working properly. how can I test this?
