I have a similar problem as already reported for the Advanced MyCode Permissions Plugin:

• Settings of Forums where a code should be (un)available are not saved to the database.
  
• Settings of Usergroups for which a code should be (un)available are not saved to the database.
  
• Adding these settings manually via phpmyadmin does not help. (Settings are ignored).
  
• Checking the box "User must be an administrator in order to use this mycode?" made the code unavailable even for my admin account (which has secondary gruop memberships)
  

And a suggestion: If the option "User must be moderator in order to use this mycode?" is checked, this ought to inlude admins and supermods by default, as they are "higher ranking".
