The plugn itself, i posted that half asleep, what i mean, is will it show my local weather, or just a general single setting.

It will show the weather for the city / zip you enter

Lexy, that plugin looks more like something accuweather,com (which I happen to run in my browser) would create. The Yahoo weather is mostly text. Maybe - on the day between Tuesday and Wednesday, which is the only free day I have - I'll look into accuweather's API and write a plugin for that.

Aristotle, it'll show the weather for any location Yahoo itself accepts, which is city names, US (and a lot of foreign) postal codes, and I really don't know what else. Head over to http://www.http://weather.yahoo.com/ and you can start plugging in locations to see if it accepts them.

I´m really glad to see ppl working on this, Rukbat and Sunjava1 to be especific

Back in February I made a request >>HERE<< that includes a weather plugin using AccuWeather which is great. On that post, I uploaded an image on how it looks on my Wordpress widget and how I would like it to be shown in my F1 forum. And now by looking the advance you have made, I see irrelevant the use of sideboxes on MyBB when it can be presented at top or below forums (I prefer below personally).

If you are going to work or write a plugin by the use of with AccuWeather, as a suggestion, I would like you to visit and take a look on Hans Matzen´s WP-FORECAST< plugin as in my opinion is more complete and includes several languages .mo files on it pretty handy also for MyBB in order to have the capability to switch, which in my particular case would be in spanish language.

I´m subscribed to this thread because I don´t want to miss any progress on this.
