[For 1.6] Wiki Plugin v1.2.2
#31
Hi,

Is there a way to adjust the width of a section? On my wiki, the title is being cut off for some of the article titles.

I'm not sure what section you mean Big Grin But you can look into the following templates:
  • wiki_category:
    search for
    	<tr>
    		<td class="tcat" width="45%">

    Replace 45% with your value, it will change the width in the listing of all articles.
  • wiki_new:
    It's nearly the same, just the width is normally "35%".

this is what happens when changing the width to 55% for wiki_title

the problem I'm having - which is why I asked if the widths could be adjusted - is that the titles are being cut off, as seen in the screenshot.

Your titles are cut after 50 characters because the table column has the limit 50. If you know how you can set the limit of the column "title" in the table "wiki" to 75 (100 whatever Wink).

thanks.

another question. I did not see an option for this in the settings. is it possible to set how many wiki entries it'll display before it goes to a new page?

Goto "/wiki.php" and edit line 5:
$perpage = 10;
But that will change the number of items everywhere (categories, trash, versions etc)

This wiki looks really good - thank you - does it support image attachments?

It supports all MyCodes but I haven't added any code for attachments. The only thing you could try:
  • Upload the image in some thread
  • Save the ID of the attachment
  • Insert the attachment MyCode in the article

But I don't believe that works Wink

lol. The reason I ask is that if it was to be used for a tutorials section then image uploading is a neat feature to have. I used to use StefanT's wiki system (it supported attachments using the mybb attachment system I think)
