^ yes, avatar and user name are connected with the plugin's code. where exactly you want to move the user name?

This is cropped snapshot from another site software but I want to try and make it look like this. It's attached.

Edit: Avatar then Thread title on top with date and username below.

The plugin does not offer styling; it merely creates the avatar for you to place in the HTML.

I centered this and it looks awesome.

That's how I did it.

^ you can remove that center tag and try below css style
.avatarep_fd {float: left; position: relative; top: 25%;}

Yeah that looks epic but it puts the by Username too close to the Avatar.

This plugin only works for 1.6 series.

I can confirm this is working with 1.8. It was one if not the first plugin which was made compatible with the 1.8 serie.
