Do you know which version of PHP your server is running?

I am asking because I've used namespacing in this plugin which was introduced in PHP 5.3-- Euan was kind enough to remind me and I plan to remove namespacing to lower the PHP requirement soon (today I hope).

But after install and activate, it show flash like fast message of unexpected character input in function.php at 276 and 331 and disapper fast that message. whats its meaning?
is it approved?
