Installing a Shoutbox

Hi, I'm trying to install a shoutbox on my forums, I thought I did everything correctly, but it's still not showing up in the plugins for some reason.

I used FileZilla and transfered the files to the site and did everything it said in the readme, but it's still not showing up.

The shoutbox name is dvz shoutbox by the way.

Any help please?

Where did you upload the files?

I just copy and pasted the files to the "/" folder, which I believe should do it automatically, if I'm not mistaken.

^ upload folder itself should not be uploaded - its contents need to be uploaded by following folder structure

if you are using a ftp client (eg. filezilla) then contents of upload folder can be dragged to forum root.
