[How To?] Video on root

guys, i want to add a video on my forums.
so my questions are..

1. where on the root do i add the video.
2. as what do i upload the video
I got a costum page so i have to do it all through global templates
3. what code i use for it, i also need to add width="" height="" etc to make it fit perfectly in the page.

if anyone can help me.. i would love to give a rep

just my two cents =>
videos eat up space and bandwidth! it is better to embed the required videos from regular video sharing sites.

it would be a great option to have video plugins as well. Let the webmaster decide if they would need video from others sites or can upload themselves in mybb.
