Can somebody help me in removing that white space?

on which browser you are getting that white space ? have you checked with other web browser ?

that looks like an issue with your browser.
I've checked it with Chrome browser and referred white space is not visible for me.

maybe cookies are taken part on this, do a hard refresh to your webbrowser and try again.

There are 2 <div>s in the place to get data from google docs. Having the same problem here.
