premium plugins?

Are premium (paid) plugins not aloud in this forum? 

I am often interested in the functions plugins offer and I have paid for them in the past. But there issnt a good overview of premium plugins that are well updated enough.

Ofcourse I can google. But often I find 1.6.x plugins.
