[Pushed] Embedded videos no longer play after upgrading to 1.8.15

Is it possible for you guys to release a 1.8.15 hotfix with solution to this issue?

I'm going to be testing the open PR this weekend, and there will likely be either a hotfix or an expedited 1.8.16 release (hotfixes can be difficult for providers of automated install systems such as Softaculous).

If there will be 1.8.16, can people upgrade directly from 1.8.14 to 1.8.16?

^ yes, MyBB forum can be upgraded from a older version to the new version
all files of the new version can be uploaded (by overwriting older version files) & upgrade can be done.

I did the fix said in the OP and now videos work, but all of the formatting in posts is showing up as text now.

Any updates? A lot of my content is video. I tried editing the file myself but no luck.
