The modification should create the css files needed. If you go to your admin cp and go to Templates & Style>Themes>[Theme name] you should see two new css files FBFriends.css and FBDock.css. If you don't then your cache and cache/themes directories are probably not writeable.

Make sure you are running MyBB 1.4.9
I have tested this plugin on my site and it works fine for me.

Look the background of block

This is because your css tborder class background is set to black. You could change it to a different class by going to your templates in the admin cp and in the FBDock Templates look for templates FbDock_friends_bit and FbDock_friends_request_bit. In those templates at the top find

class="friends_bit tborder"

Replace the tborder with a different value like thead.

yea i dont know why but when i enable this mod my forums giving this error
