[For 1.6] Jammerx2's Plugins

Is there any way out like creating a new usergroup or something like that!!!

Yes, you can. Create a new usergroup "Bots" or something. Give it the right permissions and then assign the bots to the usergroup in AdminCP > Configuration > Spiders/Bots > (edit every bot you want in the new usergroup).
Although, when a bot has access to a forum where a guest has no access to, the guest will be able to access it via the Google cache.

Yeah, I see no point in allowing the google bot and not the user, as it is nothing more than an inconvenience to the user to view the thread.

No statement on this? Sad

  • Settings of Forums where a code should be (un)available are not saved to the database.
  • Settings of Usergroups for which a code should be (un)available are not saved to the database.
  • Adding these settings manually via phpmyadmin does not help. (Settings are ignored).
  • Checking the box "User must be an administrator in order to use this mycode?" made the code unavailable even for my admin account (which has secondary gruop memberships)

And a suggestion: If the option "User must be moderator in order to use this mycode?" is checked, this ought to inlude admins and supermods by default, as they are "higher ranking".

Sorry, I guess I missed that post. I've uploaded the fixed copy.

Hi,
thanks for the update. Now it saves the settings to the db but still doesn't work properly:
  • Checking the box "User must be an administrator in order to use this mycode?" made the code unavailable even for my admin account
  • Even *if* the admin can use the code, it becomes inoperable once another user replies or the admin edits his own post.

The funny thing is that all mycodes defined with this plugin seem to work intermittently. In pereviews etc. they work, but not in the final posting, unless it is edited which "toggles" the codes' activity again. Very chaotic.

Oh, and: *bump*

I already started fixing the problems, but as I have exams I have not had much time to work on it. I should be able to have it done in a little over a week.
