Suggestion: You should have a little "NEW" image next to threads the user hasn't seen.

This plugin takes the portal boxes 1:1 from portal. So modifying them would break the consistence. Wink

Disable the boxes in ACP > Portal settings. Or just edit the index template and remove:

{$welcome}
{$stats2}
{$whosonline2}
