It gives you the oppurtunity to set a minimum of characters for portal announcements. It adds a settings at Board Settings->Portal.

After activation on portal announcements do not shows MyCode.

That is because it doesn't work, the best approach would be to use something like and MyCode to define where the post should split. The WordPress way I think.
