You don't need to change anything, the author didn't include a compatibility line in the plugin file so it doesn't matter which MyBB version you're running. I just tried it with 1.6 and it works great! Simply extract the zip to your desktop, open up the folder and upload the contents of the "upload" folder to the root of your MyBB installation.
