This plugin will deny the access of Users / Visitors from Proxy either Globally or while on Registration.

Installation:
Grab and upload ./inc/plugins/no_proxy.php to ./inc/plugins/ folder and activate the plugin.

Then you have to adjust settings yourself.

Just curious, what method does this use to block proxy registrations?

If a user tries to click on "Register" by using a "Proxy server" , then he see an error like "Sorry, you can't register to this site using a Proxy, if you feel this is an error, then please use contact link to report an error".

Hopefully this doesn't screw over certain IP's that AREN'T proxy like labroccas.

Edit: Only works globally, if you disable global and try to register using a proxy (hidemyass for ex.) it doesnt do anything.

I hope too.. I've tested it with dozens of available Proxies and all are blocked.
