Sorry, I meant ethically in the sense of the manufacturer, not the animals used for the materials. The producers are artisans who work under good conditions and are paid fairly.

The lamb was most definitely used as meat. The anaconda and the mink (detachable fur collar), probably not. I can completely understand your viewpoint, and there is a level on which I agree with you. But I don't think this is the place to have that kind of discussion.

That said, I've made an effort to reduce the amount of meat I consume and eat more vegetables and soy products (e.g. tofu, soy milk). One of my favourite restaurants in the city is a vegan restaurant. I am actually pretty impressed by vegans and vegetarians.

EDIT: Madcomp, it's pretty easy to make tofu taste terrible but if you use a good tofu and marinate it well it is very delicious. Sadly most people do not know how to prepare it well.
